What is Phoenix Badminton?
Phoenix Badminton comprises of 3 clubs; Phoenix Pay and Play Badminton Club (Social); Phoenix Flames Badminton Club (League); Phoenix Junior Badminton Club. Together we cover all levels and abilities from the ages of 8 years - 80 plus.
Do I need to be a member to play?
Phoenix Pay and Play BC sessions DO NOT require membership. Phoenix Flames BC & Phoenix Juniors BC require membership.
Do I need to book in advance for the Pay n Play sessions?
No, once you have decided what session you would like to attend. Just arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before start.
What equipment do I need?
You will be required to supply your own racket and appropriate footwear (trainers). We advise you wear suitable clothing, thin layers. There is a water dispenser on site, so please bring a bottle to use.
How much does it cost to play?
Sessions are individually priced, please click on the day you require.
What is Gold Membership?
Gold Membership is on offer to all non-members. This is not a requirement to play, however it does provide a discount for all sessions attended. It consists of an annual one off payment (currently £25). Our Gold Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March inclusive.
What is a Concession?
We describe Concessions as people that are in full time education.
Can I just drop in for a session?
Yes, you can drop in to any of our Pay n Play sessions. No booking is required.
Do I need to stay for the full session?
No, although you are welcome to stay for the full 2.5 hours, you also have the freedom to arrive and leave at anytime to suit your lifestyle.
